She was coming to weekly meetings with our volunteers, where she was learning Turkish, taking part in our social activities, and working to better herself academically. The sad reality is that her health did not improve. Ayla's asthma was exacerbated by financial constraints and difficult living conditions, necessitating a lung transplant.

We were trying to complete the official procedures for the lung transplant with the help of our donors and volunteers when we learned of Ayla's passing, with whom we had a heartfelt bond. Her family’s loss of a child, their struggles as a result of the war, and our own feelings of helplessness despite our best efforts, are all intertwined of this bond.

With Ayla's memory in our hearts, we are constantly striving to reach out to children in need and deliver aid in the most efficient and effective way possible. You can contribute to our efforts through donations.
